C&D version 7.0.7823 brings the following new improvements:

[CDO/AP] Atlas: limit the search for addresses to one or more countries

• In the atlas configuration interface, C&D Online or Articque Platform Experts can activate the address search function, to allow Explorers of their Atlas to navigate more easily in dynamic maps.
• If they activate this feature, C&D Online or Articque Platform Experts are now able to restrict the search to a list of countries, in order to avoid Explorers being offered names of cities / regions / countries close to their search out of their area.
• The restriction to a list of countries is done by entering a list of ISO codes of the countries concerned

• Example usecase :
  • Without search restriction
    • The search “Paris” can suggest “Paris” cities located in the United States

• • • With search restriction on the ISO code “FR”
      • Search results only offer results located in France

  

  [CDD] Simplified opening of GeoJSON files

  • • • • Opening GeoJSON basemap files has been simplified for C&D Desktop users
          • The “File => Open” menu now displays all compatible base map formats by default.

  

  • • • • It is possible to add a GeoJSON basemap file to a flowchart by simply dragging and dropping onto it from MS Windows Explorer

  [AP] Tiled backgrounds to use by default in the “Pole selection” and “Custom basemap” modules

  • • • Articque Platform Administrators can now configure a tiled background provider of their choice to display it by default in the configuration interfaces of the Pole Selection and Custom Map background modules.
